Ocean4Biotech Management Committee meeting, Working Groups workshops and Ocean4biotech conference took place from 23rd to 25th of May 2023 in Rome.
Core Group and Management Committee meetings took place on 23rd of May 2023. During these meetings most important managemental decisions were taken and future of Ocean4Biotech was discussed.
Around 70 Ocean4Biotech participants physically came to Rome, while round 20 of them joined meeting online. This led that 3-days meeting was attended by more than 90 Ocean4Biotech participants in total.
Second day Working Groups (WG) 1, 2, 3 and 5 took place. WGs leaders presented what is going on in their WGs as well as status of deliverables to be submitted to COST association.
During 3rd day of the event Ocean4Biotech conference took place. 12 Ocean4Biotech participants presented their work during the conference:
- Prof Andrej Stefanov (North Macedonia): Delay analysis of underwater acoustic networks
- Prof Belma Konuklugil (Turkey): Secondary metabolites and some bioactivity screening of marine-derived fungi from Turkey’s coast
