Ocean4Biotech members started to draft this article at very beginning of the Action (November 2019).
High motivation, hard work and excellent collaboration among 60 co-authors resulted in the comprehensive article on marine biotechnologies.
This article synthesizes the essence, opportunities, responsibilities, and challenges encountered in marine biotechnology and outlines the attainment and valorization of directly derived or bio-inspired products from marine organisms.
